The PA Endless Mountains Fiber Festival planning committee in conjunction with Penn State Extension is always looking for volunteers to assist with planning and marketing of the annual fiber and fiber-related show for the Northeastern Pennsylvania.

The Harford Fairgrounds are reserved for September 6 & 7, 2008 for the fifth annual event.

The gate will be open to the public Saturday 10 am - 5 pm and Sunday 10 am - 4 pm. Admission is $3 each person over age 12.

Planning meetings are scheduled for the third Monday of each month at New Milford Borough Building at 125 Main Street, New Milford (next to Savage's Funeral Home). Meetings start at 7:00 p.m. The group continually plans and brainstorms to develop a marketing plan for vendor and visitor participation. Ideas for the website are discussed and updates are made.

The festival includes raw and processed fibers, yarn, clothing, spinning & weaving supplies, fiber arts and crafts, sheep skin products, and more. There are vendors, exhibitors, animals, workshops and demostrations. Vendors participate from throughout the Northeastern United States. As the Festival continues to grow, the goal is to have 100 exhibitors participating in the festival.
