Planning meetings are scheduled for the third Monday of each month at the New Milford Borough Building at 125 Main Street, New Milford (next to Savage's Funeral Home). Meetings start at 7:00 p.m. The festival committee continually plans and brainstorms to develop a marketing plan for vendor and visitor participation. Ideas for the website are discussed and updates are made. If you have an interest in helping with the festival, please fill out a membership form. A $5 membership fee will allow you voting rights on any fiber festival issues. We are working on setting up teleconference capability so that members but can't attend in person can participate.
The festival is a celebration of Fiber Animals and related items. The event includes: raw and processed fibers, yarn, clothing, fiber arts and crafts, sheep skin products, and spinning and weaving supplies. We do require our vendors to have 70% of their product be animal fiber or related. There are vendors, exhibitors, animals, workshops and demonstrations. Vendors participate from throughout the Northeastern United States. The Festival has continued to grow each year!
LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU AT THIS YEAR'S FIBER FESTIVAL, OUR SUCCESS
IS UP TO YOU !
